You can try the Duracell Instant Power battery pack. It is cheap and comes with a cable that makes the unit think it is a power adapter and not a std USB cable. I use it with a AEE mini DV. Only the special USB cable charges that device. A regular USB cable makes the unit think it is connected to a PC. Not sure how much extra power the pack can provide... haven't tested it yet.
Portable charging options
Anybody investigated portable charging options such as the ENERGIZER XPAL XP8000 RECHARGEABLE POWER PACK FOR NETBOOKS? I got one of these from woot recently, but none of the supplied tips fits other than the mini USB and it doesn't charge the Gentouch.XPAL Power | Products : XP8000
