I've not found one I love yet. Some render way faster than others. Some render graphics, tables, etc better at different zoom levels/font sizes. Some allow you to browse wherever so you don't have to stick your files in one particular location. I think the one I'm using most often now is VuDroid, but I'm still looking. I'm kind of surprised a good PDF reader app is so difficult to find/develop. More generally, I've been thinking I'd like everything to be (converted to) epub and stick with Aldiko as my daily-driver reader for everything.

Yeah, Aldiko looks like the best candidate when either having added some plugins for additional formats (more than 20 more I think), or just have this multiformat readability/conversion built in. Just watch its versions progression. Out of Adobe PDF reader's alternatives I'd like to see Foxit for Android. On the other hand, at current level of firmware, we have a lousy, slow as molasses images (PDF images) scrolling, browsing, and overall handling, just check your stock gallery app. Which basically excludes several millions of Google books, and it's a great shame for an eReader. Now, some estimates for some e-reader apps may drastically change as we'll move to 2.1 with modded (improved) graphic drivers. Plus maybe (re)partitioning of internal card, reshuffling and deleting lots of crap like regular dalvik cache dumps for debugging. Which is now up to the nostrils, after every FC-ing incident, heh...

I had no idea Aldiko had plug-ins. I'll have to check that out. Was wondering why Aldiko was so lauded when all it could do was epub. On the epub front, another reader I tried and liked is the Laputa Reader. [Isn't that a swear word in Spanish though?] For CHM, I went with iReader. I'm still searching through PDF readers.

didn't find any plugins either. All they were saying in mobileread and some Russian forums that somebody wrote something for Chinese, and/or Arabic plus added some formats unheard of in this country of Bad Bath & Beyond the Toilet.Laputa is good. I believe its Johnathan Swift thing, though I'm very rusty in Spanish. Can anyone quote the best Android fb2 book reader? Thank you
