I was at Kohls tonight, buying a vacuum cleaner - lo and beyond, I saw a dark colored Pandigital box advertising a 6 inch Linux-based device named the Pandigital Novel. But, it's an "ePaper" screen, probably similar to the Libre. 2GB of memory, microSD slot (I think), MP3 playback supported. I think it was $179 or $199, which was pretty high for a device like that, imo.I used to own a Libre with "ePaper". It's basically a low power greyscale LCD, like a old Palm device. Interesting, but not to my liking.

2 years after you guys discuss about this device .... the price now 30$, very cheap, bargain . and i bought it for my 1st e-reader. >.,<

yeah,i really love it. it's grey scale, consume less energy, light weight, .. absolutely match my purpose of reading.

i know...it runs on linux and supports only .pdf , .epub but i wonder if someone hacked it yet ?

maybe i jealous other ppl those have easier hackable e-reader. like sony-prs , kindle or nook.

i don't wish an incredible abilities add if it hackable. (>.,<)

just hope i can read asian alphabets like thai, korean, japanese without error ...or lesser .... something like that.

kiss & hugs for the white horse.....
