I noticed that stat as well. That's about a third less weight. Maybe the battery is lighter. Yet the battery life hasn't changed (has improved?), so from where did they get all the weight savings? Is the extra glass that was stripped out that heavy? It's not as long and not as wide as the white one, but it's also thicker. Is the combination enough to make up that difference, or could the battery be a more efficient one or the processor slower or more energy efficient? The MSRP of the black one which is lighter and with the added memory is the same as that of the white one? Huh? I'm just trying to make sense of it all.

...yeah, the weight spec on the white was all goofy. I don't see how it can be that much lighter and still have the claimed battery life, especially with the apparent smaller battery.
