**PLEASE NOTE**
Whenever I try to go above 1200 Mhz the system either locks up or reboots.
It appears at this time that the system can be clocked to 1.2 Ghz instead of the Stock 1 Ghz
[hr]

Hello all,

I downloaded a copy of it and have played around a bit.
Below are my Discoveries.

Upon first opening I let it "Auto Detect" the available settings.

The stock settings appear to be:
Max: 1008 Mhz
Min: 60 Mhz
Scaling: Performance

SetCPU has two slider... 1 for Max and 1 for Min
The Maximum appears to go up to 1448000 = 1448 Mhz
The Minimum appears to go down to 48000 = 48 Mhz

There are many Scaling Options:
Performance = Run at highest CPU at all times
OnDemand = Vary the CPU Speed depending on needs of the system at any given moment in time

Other Options Include:
Conservative
Powersave
Fantasy
Interactive
Userspace
PLEASE NOTE - I am using the MOMO11 bird firmware - 4.0.3 v.9

Using the stock settings I went to Info and ran the benchmark tests: (lower is faster)
Short Bench: 239 ms
Long Bench: 526 ms
Native Bench: 1328.229980 ms
I also ran the stress test and didn't appear to have any errors/restarts
Here are the benchmarks using performance mode clocked at 1152mhz: (lower is faster)
Short Bench: 236 ms
Long Bench: 466 ms
Native Bench: 1155.163330 ms
I also ran the stress test and didn't appear to have any errors/restarts
Here are the settings I am using: (lower is faster)
Maximum: 1152000 = 1152 Mhz = 1.152 Ghz
Minimum: 300000 = 300 Mhz
Scaling: OnDemand

Here are my Benchmarks
Short Bench: 786 ms (so short... system doesn't have time to ramp up the Mhz
)
Long Bench: 448 ms
Native Bench: 1144.214355 ms
(Lower number = Faster)
I have run the stress test without any problems and so far the device hasn't rebooted!
I also set up to Profiles (change settings when certain conditions are met)
Condition: Screen Off
Priority: 81
Max: 600 Mhz
Min: 96 Mhz
Scaling: On Demand
- This should allow the device to save a lot of power when the screen is off and charge faster also.

Condition: Charging
Priority: 50 (means turning the screen off takes precedence)
Max: 1152
Min: 300
Scaling: Performance
- This should keep the device running at full speed when it is plugged in and the screen on... IE when I am using it.
If you find there is initial lag that you don't like while waiting for the CPU speed to ram up, you can always set the minimum to a higher number such as 600 on the base/standard screen.

Hope that helps!

hallo mr tasselhof, is there a reason you are not running your tablet at 1200 Mhz but rather at 1152 Mhz? I just tested on mine, 1200 Mhz seemed to be fine, anything over 1200 Mhz i got a reboot.
Have you tried the stress test at 1200mhz?
I haven't yet on the Gemei, but I did on the Aurora and it caused a reboot after a minute or two.

the app is called SetCPU (hence the thread title), you can either get it from the market which costs 1.99 (definitely worth the money if you ask me)
or you can get it from the xda message board for free: http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=505419

maybe you can post how high you were able to go without the tablet acting weird. for me it appears that it runs fine on 1200 Mhz but in either reboots or it freezes in the middle of the stress test.
1152 Mhz works stable though which is what i am running at the moment.
