using super c, i cant get above 1200bit.what progs r u using?how about setting the frames to 23.976?I am not sure, but 15frames sounds a bit stuttering to me.

its not stuttering.Smooth playback like i Described Atm im using Moyea FLV to Video Converter ProBecause im coverting a FLV File to Other formats.

Geez, I tried this Moyea FLV to Video Converter and I must say - the videos run really smooth, but the sound is horrible. I am not sure, the quality is a bit below mp4, but runs perfectly smoothat [email protected] with high quality (bitrate unknown) and 15FPS.Sound: amr_nb 8000hz / 12200b Mono Sound - eeeewwww....its like chalk on the blackboard....

I've tried few formats under linux with Avidemux and this combination works perfect:Video:MPEG-4 ASP (lavc)bitrate 500size 400x240Audio:AACstereobitrate 96This combination works perfect. Looks like I have better toy than netbook for long trips in car with children Now I just need car charger and some mount.

Ok, found the setting I like best:Xvid Profile S3 (Simple #3)512 kbit Video @ 400x24096 kbit Audio AAC 44.1k StereoThe main issue of video's freezing seems to be too high bitrate - since xvid uses VBR, this can be an issue. I have not yet figured out how to set a hard limit.

Thanks for the great info and tips for the other video convertorsI have used Video Monkey for the Mac and it has been doing OK as long as the selected device is Apple Device. Sound has been OK.I have converted primarily AVI files and There are selections to increase the size above 320 x 240. But the resultin MP4 file won't play out.For DVD's VOB files, I have used Nero Recode for conversion and selected the output to a 512M flash drive. It has worked.
