i have the same issue with panda home..when i import books into aldiko you see in the notice bar that they are installed but i cant clear the bar..would be nice too of course
Notification Bar
My hacked novel running LauncherPro has a notification bar but when I click-hold there is no pull down tab as on a normal Android system. Is there some apk I can install to put in the Notification functionality and be able to pull down the Notification window?

The current method to enable the notification bar is by holding the power switch to turn off the device but when you get the "Power Off" prompt, select "Cancel". The notification bar will work after that. You have to do this though after every reboot to re-enable the notification bar.I think this post herewas first to document the method.
That's weird that it works. If the power off and cancel can re-enable the notification bar there must be something that can be done in software or a change to a system setting that can enable it at boot.
