I'm new to the APAD but I have been looking at getting my feet wet for a while.I buddy of mine just got back from Shenzhen and showed me and APAD that he bought.The hardware configuration seems different than standard APADs. The power connector is placed by the "menu buttons" and they are on the opposite side of the tablet. The mic is also on the front of the case.I have attached pics...The power adapter is 9V and the led is red.Is this the standard button configuration or is this new.

Yeah this looks like the new 8", everything is pretty much the same except for the battery, dual 1850mAh's instead of 1500mAh, and it still uses RK2808.

if its still using same hardware inside and nothing changed on the mainboard...maybe it could or maybe not..better use the default fw first..
