New firmware android 2.2: 110121

Thanks for posting this. This is the main issue I've been dealing with.

What's the cycle booting problem? (Guess it means it constantly re-boots).

Must say mine (earlier A81E) is VERY reliable ATM which makes me reluctant to re-flash to solve a problem I have not experienced.

I do like to keep with the latest but maybe this time I'll wait till something substantive is changed.

I honestly don't know!
By the way this firmware is supposed to work for all the A81E/G variants (including the capacitive screen model).

Flashed the firmware, no major changes, everything installs and works fine so far

Ok I think the problem is where sometimes you can be in Android and install something and suddenly the device comes up with the Android boot loader for some seconds and then goes back into Android like its just booted up again.I have experienced this a number of times since this rom.Its not really a big deal though.

Khm, there is new kernel and old system in this firmware. GPS still have bad fix, but seems like more sensitive now. Also, overclock module from this forum doesn't work anymore...

this new FW is only for resistive version of A81. I tried on my capacitive A81G and the display after flash didn't respond. I must re-flash to older FW form january.

this is a firmware from February or from January? The files in the package seems like files from the January firmware 0112.

I dunno files in package its camee from witstech

If you look at the files for this update it is only the uimage files that has changed. What does file do?

Hi guys, i,m very new to wits scene so forgive me if this a stupid question... Here goes,
havent got many apps installed, gone for what i was using on daily basis on previous droid i.e sky news, iplayer, moon+ reader, words with friends and finally tapatalk. my problem is apps keep running in the background whether i have used them or not as they chew up ram i shut them down with a task killer but there back almost straight away.
question is there (or can someone make one?) a stripped down version of the firmware without dialer and all the phone bits etc. or is there away to keeps apps from starting, i have rooted it with z4 root and have tried startup manager in an attempt to stop them but nothing works and can get down to as little as 19mb of free ram (according to adv. task killer). Hope you guys can help or at the very least tell me it doesnt matter and stop worring about it.

Tried this new February firmware and nothing seems to be changed: android market needs to be fixed as usual and G-Sensor still not working with some games (asphalt, etc.) However, my Wits A81G stills being a usefull and powerfull android tablet.

Firmware for capacitive screen models has been released from witstech.

I instaled the new firm and it seeems it´s all working fine. Anyway i have a question wich can´t find. The problen of the accelerometer with the driving games like Asphalt5 or ragging thunder is hardware or firmeare problem?
