New firmware 1.9.0 ?

This version is the fastest if not responsive ever... but still few bug esspeciallyafter upgrade, it may stuck on touch screen, but will fix with potrait mode. Afterrecalibrate it will be fine and responsive. It even load pdf file faster, I only triedwith the preloaded software (Documents To Go). But I think will worked better if it rooted and can use swap partition.The most annoying thing is the bug or error with the "a.core" after installmuch apps. It cause it not to return to "home" or won't go to the desktopeven reset won't fix it. Only can be fix by reflash, so I think won't worth it forme to used for now. Revert back to ecotox firmware...*sorry for my bad english...

What exactly is the low power trick?What are the youtube helper files? (I allways use the patched youtube apk, which defaults to low res mode)regarding rooting:It is really easy to modify the install script to make a certain file accessible.Than you only need to install superuser.apk and you are rooted!reason that ecotex is faster is IMHO that he has changed the default home application. (to one that I do not like that much ...)Regarding "chinese crap" -> uninstall it, and you are ready to go!I personally did not see the big advantage of custom firmwares.I use a rooted 1.7.4 with a correct androidID.Sad thing is that 1.9 does not seem to come with the market + helper files ...

Ive had no luck at all rooting this version so far, complains android_fs not there when it is.Have you got root working then ?

This reduces the amount of noise on the band and therefore does not affect the range you'll get, if anything i've heard it improves it in some cases. Because the module is using less power (20 instead of 100) it means it doesn't get nearly anywhere as hot as it did.

Im using English as my language and have never had an "a.core" errors at all, Ive installed and uninstalled loads of apk's now and its been all good.Im running Home++ now and even faster (as I expected it to be based on Ecotox testing) than the core home launcher.Using APKtor and SlideME as my market alternatives is fine.

Ive found that by using Estrongs File Manager to uninstall the crap programs solved the "never ending boot" problem Ive been having when using the default method.

I have tried many ROMs before. The 1.8.2 is very good and everything works instantly. But in Chinese. You must manage to get into setting to change language. Besides that it is great.The Ecotox v1.3.1 flashed perfectly, but when it rebooted I got a Black Screen. It would never boots the system. After the Ecotox problem, the 1.8.2 installation stopped working. So I tried the 1.9.0. It is very good, but I cant get it to work right. The Wi-Fi always comes “Unable to scan for networks”. The touchscreen also don’t work. I have tried changing orientation many times and the tochscreen don?t work. It gets “calibration fail” if I use the mouse. The buttons don?t work right, and the memory appears as 128mb, being my m100 256mb.I?m thinking put it back the 1.8.2 and wait for a new fixed 1.9.0 firmware.Anybody has any suggestions?I got my device on DealExtreme and it is the generic one.Thanks every body

The server had a Czech domain suffix. Might be a leak. Might be worth looking into who posted the link and asking them how they found it. They were a bit vague.
