I finally received my V3 APAD from MP4Nation, after a long wait and overall im happy. I had to wait 40 days for the device to arrive and then when it did the screen wouldnt turn on so i had to crak it open and reconnect the LCD cable to the motherboard. Since then I ahave been pretty happy with the device. It's doing Internet, Videos,, Facebook, PIM, and Book reader functions as I expected. Im waiting on a Roger Braun V3 firmware update to make it even better. One question that I do have is about the Repligo Reader that is pre-loaded. All menus show up in Chinese, is there a ways to change this? Also per the battery meter/widget that I have loaded, it never shows that it charges past 86%. My understanding is that this version has dual batteries and should last longer than batch 2 Apad's. Does anyone have any ideas

seems like the battery calibration is out on the App as far as reader just download some other app as there are so many out there

As another question, there seems to be a Contacts app that is loaded on the device however I can seem to find where to access from, an ideas?

Back to your first post, I'm running Rogerbraun's blue LED 5.1 firmware currently (v3, plastic back, red LED, 9V charger). Everything working well so far.Try Aldiko as a reader.

THanks ahopewell, I do have the Aldiko reader for reading Public Domain books. You say V3, but mine as the Aluminum back, red led. I've read that using the wrong firmware will brick your device, so Im waiting on the official release for my version.
