Hi All,My APad arrived from China and was in good shape and neatly packaged in IRobot box and little did I knew of the horrid time ahead.I switched it ON and the LED did'nt come on so I put it on charge and the red LED was ON and after some time it turned green as indicated in the manual. So now I turn it on the second time still nothing only blank screen. (I heard from the forums that a linux logo comes on and then the Android logo comes before it boots to the windowed screen)So I contact my supplier and he says its a firmware issue and I load the script folder from the downloaded firmware rar in the FAT32 formatted Kingston 2 GB sd card but still nothing on the screen.I heard you get messages like Android upgrade startErase NAND Flash ...Erase NAND Flash successful!etc and then it asks to switch off and restart again but nothing here only blank screen.Its based on the VIA C7 532 Mhz processor. It has 2 speakers and there is plugin box which has 2 usb ports and ethernet port and it actually keeps falling off. It has a TF micro sd card slot and also a camera. It has a silver back finish. I believe its the knockoff of Rockchip Apad an Eken M002 I think. It vibrates once when switched ON and there is a buzzing sound at the back and thats it nothing else.Please put me out of my misery and let me know whats wrong with it and why does'nt it turn on .

Hmm sounds like an Eken M003 possibly?I didn't realize the M002 was actually available yet. Don't take my word for it though, I'm sure someone else will come along and tell you what it is.

I got the same cropy Apad from "Aliexpress" and this is the only rom that worked for me.... [ROM] EPAD 256M and 128M 1.9_88 rooted v0.3 WORKING MARKET FROM FLASH ...........use the 256MB version eveything works sound, wifi, home and volumen works etc.

Format SD Card fat or fat32, then copy the "script" file to the root of the empty sd card. Proceed to Boot with the sd card on and follow instructions.
