Hey everyone, trying to figure out what can and cannot be done all in one thread? Is there such a thread?Looking for root access, a working marketplace, what to download to make it run fast (autokiller, taskiller, startup manager,etc...?)Also, ive seen people mention the touch screen isn't very calibrated? is there a fix for this? can this device Pinch/spread to zoom( Im at work and they were deilvered today so I cant test)?I have a dell hackintosh mini 10 that ill be using to manage the device running 10.6.3. What tools will I need to download to connect to the device for any type of file access/SSH capability?Im coming from jailbroken idevices (iPad, iphone 3G and 4) and I thought that was overwhelming at first but im pretty used to it now and I feel that I can become the same way with android...eventually.Sorry if any of these questions have been asked but, there are so many threads to go through and trying to remember which thread actually had the answer is proving to be very difficult.Thanks for any help and links anyone can provide.

YOu do not need any tools, just drop on a micro sd card your apk files and pop it into the device, run the file browser on the device go to your sd card and select the apk you want to install and it will do the rest

Thanks for the info. So what's the best guide to follow in order to root, get marketplace to work, etc...? And in what order should it be done? Should i root before downloading any apps? Will rooting give me SU access all the time for all apps? Thanks again for info on the sdcard info too.

sweet thanks, got it rooted, now I gotta get the marketplace installed?BTW does it need to be rooted for the market to be installed? Ive got another one for a family member that will need marketplace but I dont want them to screw anything up.
