Apparently users are having trouble connecting via ADB now on this Firmware. This would be a backwards step as the ROM's currently are very limited in De-compilation as it is.I will Flash & Report Back....

On my Zenpad 4, the touch response seems more accurate and the overall speed of the tablet seems to have improved as well.It also solved another problem I had where my wifi wouldn't connect upon startup. Now it connects every time I turn it on.

Anyone know a way of keeping the apps you had installed when you flash
your best bet is to just back them up using a program like astro or titanium backup. i dont think TB works on this yet. i do have root, but idk. i think i will try it when i get home. any other improvements with this update?

Hi everyone! After I flashed the device I recognised that the Apad theme/application has gone. I loved that theme, I felt like I have an iPad.Can somebody upload somewhere the .apk file, or I won't have the theme anymore?Best regards,

I upgraded last night, it seems to work pretty well, every app that worked with 0809 still works and overall it feels snappier.Still getting some wifi dropouts and clock FC'sStill can't find a gmail app that works. :(I rooted it with the universal rooter app and that seems to work just fine too.

FYI: You cannot 'adb push' or 'adb install {name}.apk' over the OTG port. You can re-enable WiFi using 'adb wifi 5555' with the OTG, then unplugging and 'adb connect {ip}:5555 as before, but you have to do that after every re-boot.WARNING: I flashed back to 0804 and the new "feature" described above is present still, so there is apparently no going back to wifi by default.

Every time I turn on the unit with 0818 it connects to my wifi network.I had the opposite problem. When running 0804, every time I started my unit I had to disable and enable wifi to get it to connect.Damien
