Need better wifi drivers

not sure if anyone has id'ed the actual wifi chipset or the drivers in the current updated firmware etc for this item but the wifi in this thing succcks
.. it did get a little better with the one update however it is always at the lowest bar or just completely dropping out for me. Even when I walk in the room with my WAP in it I still don't get full bars on the thing being 4-10 feet away. Maybe I just have a bad one? Maybe it needs more of a hardware hack with a replaced wifi chipset or maybe running some wires around in it off the wifi chipset to give it a real antenna?Other then that and battery life so far this thing is a heck of a bargain for 100$.

RT2870STA appears to be the driver from what I can find in the update script.rar so far..http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Rt2870 has some info you can change the wireless modes around some to only b g n etc Might try playing with that tonight.
Actually from another pic from the teardown chip is Ralink RT3070LHowever the config files for that are probably RT2870STA from what I saw searching around.Ralink appears to have source for their drivers at http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=2 if someone knows what their doing and could incorporate the latest greatest
