I was able to boot my Eken M003 with a 6 volt battery, and I was able to get bluetooth keyboard and mouse to work. More details on my blog with pictures. LINKAnyone care to see the 10 min video for external power and working BT? I can post it on YouTube with my other Eken M003 videos.

New myth busted? Eken only needs 6 volts to run, 9 volts to charge internal battery. Also bluetooth does work on custom ROMS.
