Works fine, wasn't sure what my unbranded tablet would be, they guy said it was the same as an orphan m16, and in the box theres a zenithink instruction guide, not sure what version firmware its running on but its running 2.1 and runs everything fine, apart from some random crashes sometimes.Comic viewing is great, turned off transitions and now it just goes from page to page really well.Tried a youtube video and there was no sound for some reason will try again later since sound on the pad definatly works.just going to try rockplayer (lets you play divx files without converting for phones)Anything else you guys want me to try and test let me know all ill give it a go or try and post a video if I can.Not sure if i'll bother trying to flash it and put on custom firmware, I only really wanted it for comic book reading and that all works fine, don't wanna mess about with it and end up bricking it.

Should say zenipad, ignore spelling and grammar mistakes, it arrived at 7.15am lol
Rockplayer doesnt work. but doesn't matter, both the default player and realplayer worked fine, just tried out a download of the new episode of weeds, no fancy hd or 720p or whatever tested yet, but it runs videos in full screen fine, and comic book readers only issue with cbr vs cbz so far is that its a tiny bit slower.
The guy lied to you unfortunately, while they have a Zenithink board inside, the quality of the components is not like an Orphan branded model. Like screen battery and so on. Also the M16 has an English manual which you can download for free from apad.tv

He said, they are all made in the same factory just branded for different people. Is there any way to confirm the quality of the hardware and set up and other details, if I can prove its not what he sold me I might be able to get a partial refund (the unit seems to run fine so far)It came in an epad box (With the internet explorer logo) though. Which I think is the zt-180 box. Which would also mean it has the faked processor issue too
I was actually considering the zenipad, until I read your post. Can you explain the differences? That would be extremely helpful. Thanks.
Main difference is the extra $80-100 you pay for Orphan sticker goes in JamesDroid pocket
i was lead to believe there all the same, just branded by different companies. This is not true ?

This is not true ?[/QUOTE']Yeah I've heard they are all the same, i know the pad is the same its just the battery life thats being crappy, but that might be the same with the other batteries. I havn't heard of anyone getting 7 hours out of theirs yet
ive seen people get 2-3 hours but never 7 so far. But really i dont expect the battery life they give. With normal commercial products never mind chinese tablets. My macbook is meant to be 8 hours, im lucks if i get about 4.
Mine (which is Orphan branded) seems to go for about 3 1/2 hours with wifi on. It's an ePad -- the only thing that says "Orphan" is the sticker on the back. When you boot it up the initial display is "ePad" complete with the Internet Explorer style "E".
nice love how they rip of the ipad design and the ie logo. Why not piss off microsoft and apple. nice

Can you confirm if the components are the same as the Orphan M16? Also, did you purchase the product from Enso or from an eBay seller? If eBay, who?BTW, how is it performing? Any problems?

Also, did you purchase the product from Enso or from an eBay seller? If eBay, who?BTW, how is it performing? Any problems?[/QUOTE'] No problems so far, only problem has been battery life which seems to be getting better but not 100% sure yet. And the usual problems of some random android apps not working, but even on the real android this happens. It runs 720p and 1080p well but not well enough to watch a full movie (not that you could really store a full hd movie anyway), its just a little bit jerky not much but just enough to be annoying for watching a full movie, maybe a new codec or player, or firmware will fix this. But I don't want to use my tablet for movies anyway.I can't be 100% about the components but it seems to be exactly the same, they guy said it was the same as an orphan, and it came with a zenithink manual, as far as i can tell its 100% the same just without branding. The touch screen is great, took a little getting used to but now im used to not starting programs by accident, its actually really responsive.I got mine from a UK ebay seller who was pretty good and answered everything quickly, im asking for a partial refund based on the faked processor and it not coming with the proper android market as stated, and the slight video playing issues. The item arrived in under a week too.But personally I want to read comics on it and it runs those really really well. At some point i'll put some stuff up on youtube. Its fine for net browsing but the wifi eats the battery and I don't really need it. Around my flat i have a netbook and a laptop so if i want to browse the net ill just use one of those instead.
some video of my tablet in action
mmm the comic reading on that thing looks great. The video playback looked ok, might be youtube but i thought it looked kind of slow.

Looks like it's running nice! I'm going to buy a 10 inch tablet but i'm still hesitating between the zenithink and the flytouch II (hype-pad, which is more expensive, maybe 75$ more then the zenithink)... the two tablets seems to have similar specs, except for the external ports and i didn't find any full reviews for the flytouch II (or whatever is it's real name)And since I'm also looking for a tablet who can read comics book well, with a good internet surfing capability, I think i'll go for the good old zenithink... any hints on what i should do? thanksBtw, nice choice of comic book!
I've read all of the 78 The walking dead comics... Did you know they were doing a TV series about it? can't wait to see the results!*Sorry for the bad grammar, I'm a young french-canadian dude...eheh
