I had this program for one of my phones and had it running in the background. Just discovered they have an Android version so I thought I'd give it a little go. It manages to recover 1MB of memory on bootup and a further 10 - 18 MB when doing a "quick boost". I don't usually leave it running in the background because it uses a good 8MB itself. But for a quick solution for recovering memory it works pretty well.http://slideme.org/application/memory-booster-lite
recovers 700 bytes for me...lol
I think that's just the startup recovery. I usually shut it down completely and restart it > recover > 45MB memory free (y).
