Anyone change the memory chip to 256 from 128.If they did, I would like to know what they did and how they did it. I think for the small cost of a new memory chip, the machine should be much more responsive.

Do you know which 256MB chip is compatible?I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron and would be willing to order the part and give it a try when my M001 arrives.

It's a BGA memory chip... Even if you have the memory module, its gonna require a solder station.I second the try to make it have more RAM.

I would love to do this and have the equipment to do it. All I need to find is the proper BGA chip to replace this one with. should be an easy job . ;D

I can't find a datasheet for that part, but the reference board for this SoC used a NT5TU32M16AG-37B chip. That would probably work.
