I think you're entirely right, as the sticks are all (I think) Ralink RT3070 chipsets.I don't have an 802.11n router so I've never tried to find out if mine can connect at that speed, either with the drivers that come on the Eken or with the slightly newer OSS drivers in the open source kernel. But I don't know any reason why it shouldn't...

Hey.. Sorry for taking so long to respond.. Just bought tapatalk pro for my iPod.. The eken m001 comes with wifi built in... But rather than build the adapter onto the mainboard or use mini pci, etc.. They stripped a wifi dongle down and wired it to internal USB pads.. This is how the internal USB mod is accomplished.. Desolder the wifi dongle, resolder it to a USB hub and solder the hub where the wifi dongle was... But the wires can be colored wrong... If unsure, ask for help.
