The Eken M001 box displays what looks to be Google Android 2.1. The specs (at least on the package) makes no reference on which OS version is part of the device. Of course the official site, manual and the actual device "clarifies" the situation. But all those can be considered to some perspective as post-purchase info. This move by EKEN indicates two possibilities: 1) Either deliberately "bad" advertising to attract more buyers with the "fake" cover imageor (the scenario I support)2) Plans by the company to support 2.1 which was not possibly at hardware manufacturing timeWhat's you input on the above? Have you heard any rumors? What hardware restrictions (if any) by the M001 could prevent the move to Android 2.1? Thank you!
