I bet I am doing something really silly, but having problems in getting the swap activated.I have followed the instructions to the letter, except I have an Ubuntu 64 bit server here so used gparted on that instead of using the bootdisc.Basically Free still returns 0. Here is the respond to free as piped to my SD Card: total used free shared buffers Mem: 101472 98936 2536 0 4952 Swap: 0 0 0Total: 101472 98936 2536Here is the return of df:Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on/dev/root 150528 71676 78852 48% /tmpfs 50736 16 50720 0% /devtmpfs 4096 0 4096 0% /sqlite_stmt_journals/dev/block/mtdblock8 153600 37416 116184 24% /data/dev/block/mtdblock9 102400 4616 97784 5% /cache/dev/block/mtdblock11 1678336 9664 1668672 1% /UserSpace/dev/block/loop0 1507540 16 1507524 0% /LocalDisk/dev/block//vold/179:1 3751832 52780 3699052 1% /sdcardI think I am going to format the card again using the exact method as highlighted by Ecotox in his wiki...if anything else this might just turn out to be a warning not to use 64 bit ubuntu to gparted.
