why do they advertise the apad as being able to play 720p videos??

It's the architecture of the Rockchip 2808A cpu. The 500mhz core is what handles dsp functions like the audio and video decoding.

so if it has a rockchip processor, as soon as i load this puppy with HD movies or avi's then it should be able to play as a cause of that?
