locked out of my M001

Hi all, could anyone help me i was using my M001 as an ereader so to save the battery i turned the wifi off. while i was reading i dropped it and cracked the screen. it had a pattern lock on so because the screen wouldn't work properly the pattern lock as now locked and said i'd done too many trys i need to sign in to my email account. i've now replaced the touch glass that was broken and the sreen works properly but because i turned the wifi off i cant access my email to unlock the screen lock. Does any one have any suggestion on what i can try?. i've tried to install the original software but not sure if you can without removing the old one first and not sure how to remove the old one Any suggestions will be greatfully recieved. thanks michelle

Probably the only thing left to do is to reflash it...

Were u able to find the solution? Mine has got locked cos somebody messed with the pattern and now its asking for username passwd which doesnt exist actually. @ Wubs : How do you reflash it? Thanks
The reset button in the back should reset the unit. If the reset button does not fix it, then you'll have to get one of the firmwares, uncompress the files onto a SD card, and then power on the unit with the SD card installed. Don't forget to plug the unit in when your re-flashing or else ....
