Hello everyone. Ive been searching for several days and testing several Linux I found for WM8505, but have had no luck on getting it to work. Can someone please guide me or point in a direction where I can find some more info on this? One other thing, does anyone here know of a word processor and spread sheet that has some basic buttons? I find it a bit strange having a screen capable of handling some shortcut buttons.

Hi,I'm looking for the same. But also I'm trying to find out if it's possible to boot from SD without installing, like a "live system", so I can keep my Android and try Debian for example without installing it. If I find something will let you know.

I am able to boot from SD without installing anything over Android. The only thing I am not able to do is invert the touch screen, it moves ok for horizontal but for vertical it moves the opposite way. I modified the xorg.conf as stated here in forum but still cant get it to work right.I used this post for partitioning and loading Linux on the SD: http://www.slatedroid.com/eken-m001-debian/3610-debian-eken-install-quidlines-windows-users.htmlI downloaded this version of Debian from links here: http://www.slatedroid.com/eken-m001...g-debian-touchscreen-driver-eken-m001-18.html
