Anyone able to help me identify my tablet? I know there are a couple of other threads in this sub-forum with what is probably the same type of tablet as mine in them, it's a generic iPad styled black tablet with a model number of PC-710 on the back. From what I can see online, I think it is probably a clone of the Eken M002 or Orphan M70003. Memory Size: 128MbFirmware: 1.6Kernel Version 2.6.29-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirtyBuild No.: 1.9Storage: 2GBPretty sure the processor is a VIA one. Haven't been able to find any specific details on it though. The tablet only cost my ?60 inc shipping so I figured it was worth a punt even if it ran like a total dog.I've attached some images of it: These are some websites with almost identical tablets one them. This is an Eken M002, and looks just like mine apart from the back being white and having different stuff printed on it.Clean Stock EKEN M002 Apad Cheap Google Android 7 inch Mid Ta...USD261.25 Wholesale Price at DHgate.comThis tablet looks the same too, apart from the USB adapter on it is an iPod style one. Mine has a USB B port.Buy Apad Mini iPad MID 7 Inch WiFi 1GB Android 1.7.4 Camera compare price at pandawill.comThis datasheet I've found posted on these forums has an M7003 which, again, looks identical to my tablet.http://polyform.hu/tablet/datasheet.jpgI'm guessing that the M7003 is a knock off of the Eken M002 and that what I've got is a knock off of a knock off.

Yeah, I've got mp4's playing on it really well. I've used Handbrake to convert .mkv's and .avi's and after dropping the bitrate down by around 50% and keeping frames under 30fps they run nice and smoothly. Also, it it helps anyone I've identified the processor as being ARM926EJ-S rev 5.

Hi, i have the exact same kind as yours, Mp4 is playing well except for the first few seconds of the video, there would be lagging lines horizontal of the video, other than that, everything else is fine. But is kinda bugs me that it does not support other files eg avi or rmvb like i was told when i bought it.any idea if there's a firmware that can replace the one it originally came with? Or an upgrade, maybe? Please, any information would be appreciated!

Hi there, I have an aPad with the following identifying numbers:aPad info1.9 710Cu - found upon startupDevice info section in OSMemory size - 128mbModel number - genericKernel version - 2.6.29-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirtyBuild number - 1.9Model # on back - PC - 710Just wondering if the OS can be upgraded, would it be able to take a version of Windows Moble, if anyone has ever got the camera or the bluetooth to work (mine fails), or does anyone have any specs on the gizmo - if I run the number on the back i get no hits. It works well though except for turning off the screen to go into hibernation mode (i have to put it in hibernation manually) and the above-mentioned hardware issues - any help would be appreciated, thanx
