hi folks,yesterday i got my new eken m006 10" tablet pc. the hardware is exact the same as the eken m001. the three differences are: 10" lcd panel, 2 x usb ports and it has a small web cam (0.3mp ?).cause i used slatedroid update for eken m003 (800x600), 1/5 of the screen is dead cause the eken m006 has 1024x600.can some make a custom rom with 1024x600 ???

Finally I have obtained the firmware of the Eken M006. Is the link of unload the following one http://www.megaupload.com/?d=L2NHDEAK It so called scrip installs unzip the file and the folder to copy to the directory root of the card SD, the Eken M006 to insert and to ignite it, automatic it will get up-to-date.

Thanks Cambero, Been looking for that for a couple of days. I got the M006 too off ebay I M006 Please advise how did you go with the update, everything was alright? tips before and after?

Wonder if converting M001 Custom ROM to M003 or M006 is the same? M001 gets more attention, we M003 and M006 just need an easy M001 to M00X guide for converting custom ROMS. Can anyone help out with a HOW TO guide? WIKI? Tutorial?M00x Users Lending Eachother SupportMULES

Well part of it is getting a device in the hands of a dev. It's hard to test the Rom if don't have the device.M001 has been around the longest and was the start of this board. As people get the devices Those with dev skill start playing with them. You have the std rom which has the video drivers and cnf files to work at 1024x600. If should be fairly simple to merge them into a existing M001 ROM for the rest.M005 would be even easier. Just change the button mapping from a M003.
