Wow, how does that compare to RK3066?My seller told me the Sanei N10 Quad Core is out on the market ($222 Shipped)
Freescale i.MX6 quad core A9 CPU clocked at 1,2 ghz
1280x800, 10,1 Inch, IPS...

I wondered the same. I gather the imx6 uses a vivante gc2000 gpu but not sure how this compares to the quad core Mali mp4 in rk3066.Wow, how does that compare to RK3066?
Doesn't sound too impressive, with the quad core.. expect it to be in the 12k range atleast with firmware optimization?First Antutu benchmark @ 9800

So it's October now, do you still agree with that ranking? Has anything changed that would make you revise it? I'm looking for the best Dual/Multi-core tablet for a price range of 150USD-250USD. While I'm able to do 200USD-250USD, I'd much prefer something under 200USD. I see that in your previous posts you seemed to recommended the CUBE U30GT. You still advise the same?OK. Very good info.
Snapdragon S3 does very poor in GPU tests. Looks like weakest for gaming. Last position for GPU tests.
Tegra2 & OMAP4 are about the same and near the bottom. Already knew that.
RK3066 is #1 for performance.
Exynos 4210 is kinda weird. It scores very well in GLBenchmark. ie. #2 spot behind RK3066. But does worse in Nenamark2. ie. comes out #4 position. Does not make sense since Exynos4210 also is quad Mali400 GPU. Similar to RK3066. ie. should come out 2nd in Nenamark2. No reason to drop to #4 spot.
For ranking, based on (GLBenchmark) GPU performance, I would say:
#1. RK3066, #2. Exynos4210, #3. ns115 (slightly faster than 8726-MX), #4. 8726-MX, #5. OMAP4 & Tegra2 (almost same), #6. Snapdragon S3
#1. Exynos-4412: Ramos W30 (& W30HD - Retina display). Quad CPU & quad GPU.Does it even make sense to buy a China tab over 200USD?
That was very helpful. Based on your assessment, I'll wait for the Ramos W30. I want that Quad CPU & GPU.#1. Exynos-4412: Ramos W30 (& W30HD - Retina display). Quad CPU & quad GPU.
#2. RK3066
#3. Tegra3
Those are the 3 ARM chips I would go for. In that order, because of performance, but all 3 of them are great choices. RK3066 is a really great chip but I have not been too impressed with the tablets coming out. Likely to run into bad assembly or slow release or so-so firmware.
Ramos W30 should be really fast but not out yet and I haven't kept track of benchmarks for it. Supposed to come out by about Oct 27. Worth checking out.
Cube U30GT-H is very nice tablet if you are OK with quiet sound. ie. best with headphones or external speaker(s) - through audio jack or Bluetooth. But, U30GT can have QC (quality control) issues. Not to say that other tablets don't also. In addition, Cube switched to MVA from IPS which is somewhat of a display downgrade. ie. like going from 10 to 8.5 for display.
For 7", likely best to go with Nexus 7. Better game compatibility, more frequent & better tuned OS updates, long battery life (10+ hours) and GPS. But, if you really want and will use HDMI & SD slot then Chinese tablet is only way to go.

For 9.7 or 10.1", best to get some tablet with RK3066 (or Ramos W30 - Exynos-4412).
Pipo M1 is rated very highly but is 9.7". 10.1" is better for gaming and HD video/movie playing. Pipo has M3 too. Should check some reviews for M3.
For 9.7/10.1" expect to pay $220-250 shipped. Going higher than that starts to get pricey. Usually 8-10 hour battery time.
For 7", $130-150 shipped for 1024x600. 1280x800 about $145+. Usually 4-5 hour battery time.
Just saw that Yuandao came out with a newer N70 that has Bluetooth!!! Hurray! Finally!

PS, N70 (w/Bluetooth) & mini U30GT are good choices for 7".
PPS, I would not spend more than $150-155 shipped for Chinese 7" & $250 shipped for Chinese 9.7 or 10.1". Shipping with HK or Singapore Post. China Post can be really slow and damage your goods. Avoid them.
