Keyboard issues

Has anyone had problems with the keyboard not syncing up correctly with the keys that are being pushed? Just wondering if it's the machine I got or if it's a common problem.

yep, and I just got mine today, got the 7-05b version so the new firmware won't fix it. just having to tell myself to push hard all the time... totally different than my EVO
The biggest problem I have with the keyboard is trying to hit the delete key. Always get the "L" above it instead. Other than that I am adapting to it, but coming from the Droid this type of screen can be frustrating! I don't know if it's my imagination, but I think after installing the google experience packages the keyboard seems more accurate/responsive. Also my wifi seems to be holding better.

I hit that "L" quite a lot too! ........ Glad its not just me.....
Have you done the screen calibration? This fixed the same problem with the delete key for me.

Thanks for the tip...I think that helped a bit.
I ran a draw development tool on this android and you will be surprised what results i got.The stuff I drawed from the meat of my finger was ALL OVER THE PLACE. It takes pressure from what looks like a pixel sized area. So if you take the meat of the tip of your finger and press, the first point of pressure from your finger will be where the PDN registers your touch, whether it be at the top part of your finger or the bottom. This device looks like it was designed more to work with stylus sadly. Perfect for woman with finger nails, my wife uses the keyboard perfectly.Check out the dev tool kit for android and try the pointer development tool and you will see what I mean.

In the box of the one I just purchased from Kohl's, there was a separate sheet describing using your fingernail and also suggesting a stylus (pictures and all). But for turning book pages or moving cards in solitaire (which require a sliding motion), I have found that using the pad of the finger is much better.
The other thing is when you hold your finger on it, it has a VERY difficult time trying to tell how long you held your finger on the screen. It actually takes a lot of resources out of this thing. Way we know this is if you try to hold your finger on an icon within another launcher/home, it will slow down tremendously. My advice, use the tip of your finger near your fingernail when you calibrate. I know this may seem annoying at first but when you are typing on the keyboard, it will make a big difference in your accuracy.Good if you have nails too.
Has anyone experienced frequent noise from the keyboard app?Application Android keyboard (in process com.android.inputmethod.latin) is not responding.Option: FC or WaitI generally choose FC.Wondering if there are any steps to permanently resolve whatever might be going on?Thanks for any clues,J
Never, ever have I seen that happen!
