Here i will post my findings about the eken.First up is a html page i edited which has been dumped from my eken. Most commands dont work ( from linux ) so i will try update the script to show more things. This is what My dump looks like.http://www.amnet.net.au/~impossibleblot/sysinfo.htmlCPU/Hardware INFOFound Some more info on HardwareGot some details about the cpu/batteryUsb, The device Can see 2 Usb ports, and 1 Usb Host port (dock).UpdatedFrom my test using http://softweg-studio.com/The Cpu and Ram score is the same as a Google Ion or T Mobile myTouch 3g.528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A ARM11 processor (PV32B) 192 megs ramThe Linux BogoMips Score of 174.48 is hard to compare to other cpus, because its a very unrealiable way of comparing CPUs, it should only be used to compar Exactly the same Core CPUS.So from my standings this proccessor is pretty fast i think??Also from my calculations, this processor should be getting around 300 Bogomips. (@ 600mhz)I found this result for the same proc as ours.Processor ARM926EJ-S rev 5 (v5l) Linux BogoMIPS 299.00 Version 1.0APKshttp://www.amnet.net.au/~impossibleblot/?dir=eken/APKsRemote RPDJust installed Xtralogic Remote Desktop ClientWorks Perfectly
:):)Just some minor Issues such as mouse course not centered, but all in all fuckign awesome :)Works REALLY fast!!The app itself is faster than the eken itself :S lol...( i will edit this first post with updated Things )Mods !!My future mod hardware :)The device on the eken is a extra small bluetooth dongle which ill take the plastic off and put inside :)The second device up the top is a Bluetooth GPS
--------TODO LIST--------------------------------Update sysinfo scriptFinish Video testing ---------Kinda !Install SSH serverFind More working APKs ---------Done !Install http server for remote LogsInstall rpd client to Remote Into windows --------Done !Mods------------------------------------------------------The Page Were everthing will gohttp://www.amnet.net.au/~impossibleblot/Video Testing Threadhttp://slatedroid.com/index.php?topic=330.0

Im not making my own Kernel or Rom.Im just testing so the pros can make them :pThe more testing i do, the less they need to do

Don't leave us hanging! Lol! I am guessing the CPU is actually a 350mhz (instead of the 300mhz we all fear, and the 600mhz that it surely isn't).

The BogoMIPS score he posted here: http://www.amnet.net.au/~impossibleblot/sysinfo.html# Says 174 BogoMIPS, which are usually about equal to MHz, i thought? 174 seems very low, but 2x 174 = ~350. So i'm pretty confident at runs at 350MHz :(CPU is listed there as an ARM926EJ-S also, interesting info about it here: http://www.arm.com/products/processors/classic/arm9/arm926.phpAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnd this page http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/embedded/handbook/?part=4&chap=7 describes a 400MHz device running a similar CPU which gets around 200 BogoMIPs.Definitely a 350MHz chip. Well, imho, anyway :)Confirmed here: http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/omap_applications_processors/f/42/p/29897/103944.aspxBogoMIPS displayed for ARM9 architecture is half the actual clock speed. So 174 BogoMIPS means ~350MHz.

I agree with the 350MHz.Btw, regarding memory, kernel command line:
Kernel command line: mem=109M noinitrd root=/dev/mtdblock7 rootfstype=yaffs2 rw console=ttyS0,115200n8 init=/init lcdid=1
It seems that the kernel is actually using only 109MB instead of 128MB... I wonder what is the rest of 19MB used for?! Maybe if somebody is brave enough can change the update script. I guess the appropiate line is:
setenv bootargs 'mem=109M noinitrd root=/dev/mtdblock7 rootfstype=yaffs2 rw console=ttyS0,115200n8 init=/init lcdid=1'

Its not 174 mhz i dont think....Its getting the same score as 400 mhz devices.PLUS thats the exact BogoMips score....So it cant be 174 mhz

The app will be reporting the BogoMIPs score. As i posted on the previous page, for ARM9 CPUs you need to double the BogoMIPS score to get the true clockspeed.
