That sleep feature is ticking me off! Everytime I try to turn off my novel it sleeps. The power off/cancel box pops up but disappears before you can press it. Then It won't turn back on and no charge light. Tried to reset, nothing. I hooked it up to my pc while it was dead to see if that would turn it on and my pc said " unknown USB device has malfunctioned". I waited a couple of hours and tried reset again and it turned on. Do I have to do this everytime I use it? AAAgghhh

Then it should pop up menu for "power Off" and "Cancel".The trick here is hold power switch for 1-2 sec.

Under the settings function (Hammer & Wrench icon), there is a sound & display settings area, under which is a "Screen timeout" setting. It allows you to set the timeout as follows: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, and 30 minutes. Unfortunately there is no "disable screen timeout" option. In my experience, if you hold the off button until the "power off / cancel" prompt appears and then slowly release the button, that prompt will not disappear. However if you let the button to its own devices, so that it quickly returns to the other right-side position, the PDN will immediately go back to sleep.
