iv opened up my iphone dock and it works ok with the slatedroid fine and a good thing iv found out is that when you conect the audio out to the stereo and dock the eken the audio out works great

sweet, i was going to buy one for the ipad, only around 15$usd on ebay, but i didnt know if the eken m001 would fit, does yours? i know the m001 uses a generic ipod connector, but im unsure of the clearance between the connector and the back of the dock, since the ipad is allot thinner than the m001

umm...the ipad is actually the same thickness as this cheap tablet. i measured mine...

i think that we have a audio-out port on the dock connector... wasn't it?
