iBall Slide owners (yeah I mean "rebranded" Herotab C8M) your camera may stop working after you flash custom firmwares. This is because the vendour enhanced the camera to a 2MP model. Thus fixing the problem requires setting the camera string in the bootloader from 'gc0308' to 'hm2055'. Attached are two files which you can use to remedy the problem. Following are the instructions:

Download the first one ("utscript1.zip"), extract to your the root of your internal SD. Boot it using Menu+Power. It will show upgrade system activated. Then, it will boot normally. Check if the camera works and report back. NOTE that if you boot normally, the camera won't work (temporary change...)

If it works (it probably will), you may try the second file (same procedure). This will make the change permanent (by permanent I mean it will be written to NAND, so you dont need to press Menu+Power every time). Note that this will modify the camera string, save it to NAND, and shutdown (instead of booting like the first one). So you'll then have to turn on the tablet by simply pressing Power. Risk? I don't think this is any more risky that editing the bootloader arguments by hand (because this only uses standard U-Boot commands to do what we were trying to do by hand). But I take no responsibility for whatever that happens to your tablet because of these scripts.

I own a iBall slide.
1) i rooted it following the link
2) i tried to install ubuntu following the link
The problem started...
1) after i restarted my tab, the screen became blank
but i was able to access the tab using adb shell from my pc.
worst thing i did...
1) i pressed power + Menu Button together.
i got some message...
2) Pressed MENU/KEY_VOLUMEUP
... Init internal SD card ...Partition ... then system shutdown...

Now my iBall slide does not work.

please help me on how i could recover my tab.

No idea about the screen. Flashing the ROM should work. As for the Menu+Power it's pretty harmless. It just puts your tablet into factory condition (assuming you did not flash any ROM; if you flashed custom ROM it will put the custom ROM to it's original state; this is true atleast for iBall Slide; can't say for Dropad). I should add that firmware flashing is risky; you risk bricking your device.
