I have firmware 2012-12-19.
Icoo's website shows latest firmware is from Nov 20, 2012 for D70 PRO II. Did your tablet come with newer firmware? I wonder why they have not added it to their site.

Yes, it came with that firmware. Someone else had one with a 2012-12-17 firmware. There was also a 2012-12-03 firmware made available by a Pandawill rep that was never officially released.

I had problems in rooting the D70 Pro II and also the drivers in flash mode. My computer is with a Dual Core Athlon 64 and Win 7 64 on it.

The solutions found here didn't suit my computer, probably due to the AMD technology.

But rooting went fine with the TpSparkyRoot found here: http://www.filecrop.com/tpsparkyroot.html
The drivers in flash mode that were installed and working well were from the ADT Bundle the newer Samsung Galaxy Tab drivers.

Is anyone able to boot into CWM recovery by keypress combos? I used to be able occasionally with cmw5.5.0.4 but with 6.x, no go. I have tried vol-&power, vol-&vol+&power, both have not resulted in anything.

CWM 5.5.0.4, http://www.sendspace.com/file/dvwuqx; do not use d10 dc, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987280 will cause boot loop, more details, http://www.flashmyandroid.com/forum/showthread.php?3068-%28Solved%29-Help-D70pro-II-after-cwm-5-5-0-4-flash-now-in-boot-loop&p=19999#post19999 )

custom ROM, http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/39750-romgenerickmod-jb41cwmzip-for-pipo-u1max-m11/

Flashed cwm 5.5.0.4 for d10 dc and got into a bootloop, reflash with another copy of 5.5.0.4 got it out, and upped to 6.0.2.7 now. Battery charged to 100%, lasted > 2 hr with 50% left.

Question: How do you use your ROMdump? Can it be made into a flashable package of recovery of some sort to get one out of trouble? Of course, by now, I can make my nandroid backup after I installed CWM.
Enjoy,

bun

1220 isn't on official site. 11-20 is the last "official" rom from ICOO.

I'm still having the issue where the charging animation freezes with the Darkwater V2 if the tablet is charging while powered off. Started with the 12/3 ROM, seems to still affect 12-19.
