How to connect 3g modem on batch2 in Thailand

Just a very small number of USB modems are supported - Those that are, seems to be limited to Chinese modems. As there is no first hand info on this (just what the manufacturers say, which at times isn't the most reliable source) it's quite possible that 3G modems aren't at all supported.
