You have to plug the usb cable into the otg port then hold the big button on the front of the screen down first then hit the power at the top while holding the big button down this will allow xp to recognize the device then you can add the driver to flash but seems only to work in 32bit.

Can anyone help, I have got to the point where I could install tghedriver onto Vista on my computer and the noise that indicates the ZT-180 has connected occurs but my computer can't still read my ZT-180 so therefore I can't flash it yet, have the burn v07 tool ready to go but it won't go green until the computer recognises it.

I successfully flashed my Zenpad using a VM running Win7, after a couple of blue screens the procedure finally worked.Wireless works much faster, that is most noticeable change so far.

I recently downloaded the burntool, drivers and the system files to flash this device. when I first connected the pad to my computer it recognized it and asked me to download the drivers. I did this and when completed I opened up the burntool and saw that "device 10" was ready indicated by the green box next to it. Somehow in the middle of this the zt180 started to boot up so i disconnected it from my pc, shut it down again and press the button on the front with the power button and the blue light came on. However this time when I connected it to my pc it didn't recognize it and in the burntool the box is never green anymore. Is there something I'm missing.fyi: I'm using windows xp 32bit

how did you do it? my pc doesnt recognize my epad as well. please help
What ROM is currently on your tablet? What does your model # on the barcode say? Burntool is only for older ROMs, current ones are flashed via the sdcard at boot (put files in zt-update folder on sdcard and press the left volume/toggle key as soon as you see the logo).....

This thread (and the post before yours) is almost a year old.....

Edit: Nevermind, read your post in another thread, I don't think you have a Zenithink ZT-180 Epad, but like VexMD said, we won't know for sure till you open up the tablet and provide photos of your board.....

I have got my ZT180 to work on Win 7 64-bit.
1. Connect the mini USB to OTG on the tablet.
2. An android screen on the tablet should popup asking if you want to turn on the USB Mass Storage device. There will be a button that has Turn On.
3. Windows will see the USB Mass Storage Device and an explorer window should popup.
4. I have had several issues with the onscreen instructions, so TURN OFF THE USB STORAGE button before unplugging the USB cable.
(The instructions say to eject using Windows, I have had nothing but freezes with this, so just turn off the USB storage and Voila!)
