I don't know how to upgrade it because the instructions aren't clear.It is likely the same way as other telechip devices such as the Gpad 10.

it took me sometime before i get it1) slot in usb cable to haipad (while power remain off position)2) slot in usb cable to ur pc aswell 3) press hold top right menu button 4) press hold power button ( the boot up button )4) push the haipad power on 5) waiting to detect usb in pc window usb start booting etc ........anyway u can check on their wed site how to flash video.yesterday they just posted

Well it's mostly fixed games lagging when using the touch-screen, and games run generally faster.There's still no home button functionThe G-Sensor has been working fine for me all along.

I've been trying to do anything with fdwn but I kept getting the blank white screen in the fdwn tool in "Device Probing".Then I tried:

adb shell flash_eraseall /dev/mtd/mtd0adb reboot

which bricked my m701 which had kernel #316.By accident I was mounting my microSD card in my Sanyo c40 camera while fwdn was running. It was then I finally had the usb mode turn on! So now my m701 is showing the haipad boot screen.So here's a tip for those people having fwdn white screen:Just insert another sd card in a separate device & keep unmounting/remounting the sd card if fwdn gets stuck. It's strange but it works for me (running Windows Vista with fwdn in winXP compatibility mode).Right now I'm doing a low level format & the status bar is updating and...IT COMPLETED! yay.

I found it confusing also. It looks like you can flash with the firmware installed on a micro SD card. This is explainedon the Wiki attached to this site. It didn't work for me but I was using a 8gb SD card and that is too large fromwhat was told to me.
