I have looked around and I can't seem to find an answer. I am trying to hack my novel and I am stuck on step 2. I have downloaded the files from mediafire.com, but I don't know how to "unzip the contents to CDN". I put the file in CDN but it wont open. I thought that right clicking on the file would give me the option to unzip it but It doesn't give me that choice. Thanks for any help!

Which files are you trying to use? Some of them are not intended to be unzipped, but load via firmware flash (holding vol+up key and Power-slider until the Android loader appears.) If it ends with "6410POP.zip" you don't unzip it, just load it and watch the magic happen.

I am following the instructions on facebook/I love the pandigital novel. This is where I am stuck....Step 1.5:Navigate to your computer's "C:" drive and create a folder "PDN", and then familiarize yourself with the command line. To open your windows command line, click Start/Run and type "cmd". Type "cd" to navigate all the way down to "C:", and type "cd cdn" to navigate to your new PDN folder. where the heck are these? "Google Experience (GE) hack, root enable hack, Android ID hack (for Market), install user apps." Im guessing they are in the file I can't unzip. I tried 7-zip and it won't open. Don't shoot me on this if I'm wrong...How are you unzipping the file you downloaded?You made mention several times that you unzipped to "CDN" - there should be a in between those... CDN is correct path.Next, when you unzipped the file you downloaded, what exactly did you wind up with?Sent from my HACKED PDN using Tapatalk

i use 7zip, but mine is in a .7z file, i can compile it into a .zip for you and email it if you want. you also need adb with the drivers all in the same folder, c:/pdn is fine, once you have all the correct files in the folder, the 'userapps' folder is where you can put your downloaded .apk files to install and get you started. plug in the pdn via usb cable provided, and through task manager use the drivers in the c:/pdn folder, just run the fullinstall.bat and follow the on screen instructions.

Well I think I got it. I'm not sure how to check to see if everything "new" on my novel is working. I found a different file to download. Seemed to be easier. I never did see all the things secretseven refers to. seretseven....do you think I should still install the file that you can email to me? I can;t help but feel that I am missing something.Thanks everyone!
