I received my apad 2 days ago and I am very happy with it. The only thing bothers me is that the home screen doesn't rotate (always landscape) when I hold it vertically. I don't know if this is normal. For other applications, browser, ireader, etc., the automatic rotation function works just fine.Thanks a lot.

just upgrade to the 5.1 custom firmware and this will solve this problem. (your device will be faster too)

ok, so i have the same problem.i have the rockchip irobot apadcan i install this 5.1 rom, and if so where do i get it, and how do i do it?I know that there are lots of threads talking about this, but none are detailed enough for me to understand!Thanksbwc

No. i dont think so, else they would not send you a note saying'there is no current custom firmware for this model' (or something along those line)

No it wont,the firmware hasnt been written yet for the v.3 APADS that mp4nation sells yet.He (Raz,the site owner)is advising everyone who buys a v.3 APAD from there not flash with any other software at the moment,go to the site to see more info.

That's right, Raz sent Rodger a v3 so he can work his magic. So no updating until we are told otherwise. We just need to wait for all of the goodness to get released!
