I bought the Novel primarily because it allows you to read PDFs and highlight, and I knew I was going to be taking a lot of classes where I would want to highlight PDFs. I can figure out how to highlight and how to read PDFs, but the Novel's reader won't let me highlight the PDF. I've tried more than one file. They are not the highest quality scans, so I don't know if that is the reason. Does anyone know an app that might be able to highlight PDF, or how to make the Novel reader do so?Thanks!

Doesn't it work the same way that it would for an eBook? (I have to admit that I never tried it with a .pdf file, and I don't have my PDN with me so I can't test anything.)From the manual: "To highlight text, touch & hold until you hear the audible cue, and then slide your finger across the text you want to highlight, release and select Highlight from the Reader Options window."

When you say that the PDFs are not the quality scans, it makes me think that your PDF files are made from picture files, and not from text files. If that's the case, I think you would only be able to do it if you did OCR on the scanned document before you convert it into a PDF.JeffSent from my Pandigital Android Tablet
