Intermittently I get a high pitched sound coming from my novel.. Sometimes it goes a while w/o doing it then it starts.. Just noticed it the other day before any firmware or hacks done.Anyone else getting something similar?

I can hear it when the brightness of the screen is lowered. It is the hardware that controls the backlight of the screen in my case. Do you have it in max brightness?

I haven't changed any settings.. I'll see if thats when it happens..

I have heard the sound as well. I typically keep the brightness on mine at 25 or 50%...
