could you please focus on something like this:http://micgadget.com/3381/ipad-knockoff-upgraded-with-android-2-1-and-larger-display/I would buy 100.
From my last chat with Chip3c, Chip3c is currently developing a version based on an OMAP Cortex class CPU, but that would likely be at another price point and at a later date. The appeal for Cortex based products running on Froyo is there because Google I/O has recently demonstrated that such products will have full Adobe Flash. Rockchip fits a very different market, at a much lower price point, yet still achieves a lot of functionality.

I chatted with chip3c again last night. The manufacturer is still focusing on the Chinese market for their devices. While they would like to support international buyers as well, they simply do not have the capacity to do that at the moment. However they are trying very hard to improve their product and streamlining various things. In particular, there are a lot of software optimizations to be made. They are working to resolve all the issues now.

http://hiapad.com is the informal support site they will have. Click 'English' to see the English version of the webpage.Specifications of the Rockchip Apad device manufactured by Chip3c's factory are now published thereRoot information will be on this site when the manufacturer gets around to it.
More pictures of the deviceHere's a link where the manufacturer has posted up some of their devices for wholesale, via Taobao, a popular Chinese marketplace style online shopping sites. Here you will find pictures of the Apad for your reference until the site at http://hiapad.com is updated: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=5546309104

It seems that some of you doubt that Hiapad.com is run by people who made the Apad iRobot. Evidence that chip3c is legitimately either the direct manufacturer of the Apad iRobot or at least a subsidiary of the manufacturer:1) The main manufacturer of the Apad iRobot (the casing and components) is Shenzhen Utopia Technologies (深圳乌托邦科技有限公司)Shenzhaiben news on the Apad
已知这款APAD方案来自深圳乌托邦
2) chip3c claims to be the Shanghai representative of Utopia Alibaba深圳乌托邦科技有限公司上海办事处李鑫 先生 (上海办事处负责人)3) chip3c's Alibaba shop has a listing that only a manufacturer of the Apad can offerHe lists units of 51-100 for 800 Chinese Yuan (RMB)800 RMB = 120 U.S.4) Hiapad has the most information about the Apad iRobot on the internet to date. They have real ApadsThey have access to new firmwareThey know how to take apart the deviceThey are from China5) He has been promoting the device on various websites6) He admits it
