Currently the only tab with any information at this time.
Once I receive the tablet I will post all the information I can.

I plan to create a review video and an internals/teardown video.

Thanks,

Tasselhof

i hope it is, this device looks great when watching the specs
I believe it will be nearly identical (spec wise) to the Herotab MID816.
Just with a 7" Capacitive Screen instead.

I will be getting a review unit :} hopefully soon from Merimobiles!
They informed me there was a slight delay with the manufacturer.

Still very happy with my MID816 and I believe I will still prefer the 8" 4:3 form factor.
The Capacitive screen should be nice!

my order has a delay too, it will be shipped after this weekend they say.......
i'm looking forward to work with the capacitive screen, i had a a8 8"before (with the shaky screen) :-
We haven't noticed much if any screen shake issues wih the MID816.
Did it happen when you were holding an icon to delete... or did the screen go crazy switching between portrat and landscape.

MrTasselhof, I am a fortunate owner of M802/MX515 purchased from MMobiles approx 4 months ago... great little device, met my expectations in full and even more, so far. I am now tempted to buy a new tablet and I am not decided between M816 and HerotabC8. On one side I like the 8"screen and the full tech spec of M816 (and I see that with the latest firmware upgrade most of the early bugs have been fixed...) but on the other I am tempted by the capacitive touchscreen of the Herotab C8. which one would you recommend if I go for a change? I beleive that the M816 processor is a bit faster? Which one of the two hardware is more likely to fit Android3 in future?

I have to say, this tablet have Samsung S5PV210 chipset (Same use in Galaxy Tab and Herotab 816) and as we can see from official datasheets, then anyway this tablet have PowerVR 540 3D Accelerator, cuz thats SoC (System-On-Chip) system.. And soo.. in Herotab C8 (Dropad A8 Haipad M7) there is same hardware, as in Herotab 816. The only difference in the frequency (Herotab 816 +200Mhz)

Official Datasheets - XDADevs

P.S. I ordered one Haipad M7 (same as Herotab C8 and Dropad A8) at 17th January (from Aliexpress) sooo waiting now

[quote the way, I've looked closer to photo, the battery capacity is only 1500 mAh
As far as i can see there are 2 batteries each 1500 Mah
Lipo or Li-ion batteries are connected in series to get 7.4 voltage meaning these two have 1500mah capacity connected in series. Official markings should be 2s(7.4V) 1500mah. If they were 2p that would give you 3000mah but only 3.7V battery pack, p meaning parallel connection. I am coming from RC controlled airplane hobby where these are used.
Sellers and makers should really make a fix on this issue as I see many sellers are taking advantage of clueless buyers saying device has tons of capacity battery built in where it actually has only half of advertised capacity.
In this case 1500mah is next to nothing to be used with capacitive TS and WIFI at the same time, let alone attaching 3g dongle to it.

I don't have the C8 in my hands yet to really give it a test run.
I agree with you that I like the capacitive screen... but it really only matters if it is multi-touch.

The resistive on the MID816 is highly responsive.

I definitely believe I will still prefer the 8" 4:3 form factor of the MID816.
Just gives you a lot more screen real estate.
