Right, was having charger problems (yes i did look at the threads) so i found an old charger that fitted the little adaptor, plugged it it and my screen went bright white. realised something was wrong (no more than 30 secs later) and since then i cant turn on the apad.i assume i have messed it up and its dead - i cant return it either as purchased from an individual on ebay.Any ideas if its poss to save it??thanx in advance

Sounds like you plugged in a charger that was the wrong voltage or the wrong polarity? if you did then I'm afraid it's fried, you might be able to get someone locally to have a look and see if it's repairable but you should start saving for a new one.
