My son knocked my M001 on the floor and the screen cracked.. At first I thought it wouldnt be too bad as the LCD had not leaked but, as its resisitive touch screen , the touch screen no longer responds so is useless. Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement screen ? I have trawled the web so far with no joy and have disassembled the unit in an attempt to search for screen parts numbers, also with no joy. Don't want to bin this and ever hopeful for a cost effective compatible screen somewhere ?!

If the LCD is still working then you should be able to get away with just replacing the digitizer. But again, unless you can find a supplier it's as good as gone. It might be worth going to the Graveyard section (under Marketplace) and seeing if there's a spare one going free there which you might be able to nab a screen out of.

Mine's selling on Ebay link in my signature ..ends thursday around 4pm.. ?42 sofar.. If your Interested ?Parts also apearing on ebay like batteries etc ..no screens so far but good luck

YEs Ia did and I fix it. I am using it right now. But it was a little dificult to change. becarfull. I really sweat. if you are going to do this first inform you about how to open the eken safetly.
