Hello, I have been looking at getting an android tablet for a few weeks now for my brother and I am trying to figure out which one would work best. He does not need it for much just:1. surfing the net and viewing pdf files2. writing word documents(with a blue tooth or usb keyboard)3. android marketplace4. decent battery life (longer then 2 hours)He has found the SmartQ V7 which looks good since it seems to have decent hardware, but I figured since you guys seem to know everything about theses MID I would sign up and ask the board.

Hey BCI just got the a smartq v5 from our sponsor (merimobiles) I will be putting up a review in the next few days but my initial impression of the V5 is that the build quality is very professional, Smartq is well known for their mp3/mp4 players. I have not used the win ce but the linux is very nice and the android 2.1 seems stable. Internally the V5/v7 or identical. Just ordered a mini hdmi so have not tested that yet. If you have any other questions let me know

I'm looking for the best tablet as well to give as a gift for my 11 year old son who would likes to surf the net and do a lot of online games.

Kindly let me know what's the best one out there?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I'm new to SlateDroid, and found your Pandigital post interesting. Did you actually buy it?
How is it working?

I haven't bought a tablet yet and I'm deciding between the Craig CMP 738a $99 @ CVS and the Pandigital PRD07T20WBL7 $79 @ Walmart.

I have seen plenty of information about each, but I'd be interested in a quality comparison. Which has a better chance of lasting?

Thanks
Don't get a tablet from WonderMedia unless you are willing to put a lot of work into it.

I recieved a WonderMedia tablet as a gift, it wasn't that hard to get going. What it really did was give me what I'm calling "tablet fever".
hi:
in the choose of a tablet you have to see the specs, in special in speed of procesor and 3d procesor. if have a resistive o capacitive screen. and of course, and more important, if the company upgrade the software.
greetings
DO NOT GET A PANDIGITAL!!!!! Thing is nothing but a headache....
all depends how much you wish to spend as there is a lot out there but if u want to spend good money then anything with a snapgragon cpu
Thinking of getting a Coby Kyros MID7127. It has a capacitive screen, 512MB RAM, SD, etc. etc. for $167. There is also this... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Double-Power-DOPO-MD-702-7-inch-Capacitive-Screen-Android-2.3-Tablet/19519179?adid=bzv_fb_revshr_001 It is Generic, but the reviews are good, however after getting a completely non-functioning Sylvania for a present and returning it... I am wary of anything cheaply made. I haven't found a single bad review for the Coby listed above.
my friend yo tengo un ipad que acabo de dañar
I got a window n12, I have no clue if that might be something you are looking for!
new here too. Trying to get the market working on my PD Novel
