G'Day mate!It looks like an Eken M003. That means the processor is probably actually a 350MHz unit like the M001. The benefits of this model is the larger screen, and the USB Host which the M001 really misses. It is Android 1.6 with 1.7.1 (or 1.7.2) build on it. There is definitely support here for the M003.It has a slim chance that it will have a 533Mhz cpu, but the general consensus is that is will be 350Mhz. To test this theory, install a terminal emulator (Connectbot or Best Terminal Emulator etc.) and run the command "cat /proc/cpuinfo". This will output the CPU specs. A line called BogoMIPs will be shown with a value. This value is approximately 50% of the true cpu speed on an ARM-based device. Mine shows 174.9, so 350 it is then. This falls in line with Wondermedia documentation showing the device has a clock speed of 300, and it is most likely overclocked to get 350.Let us know when your tablet arrives what the value is, please.Welcome!

Hi All, a month ago I was on ebay looking at WM8505 netbooks, have one running Debian, and bid US$108 delivered. Was successful and final cost after waiting two weeks was AU$122.Very happy with the unit to have a look at Android. It connects to my router and seems ok for simple browsing, music plays OK and am not fussed about poor video. Seems to be reasonable as a photo viewer, but would like a better program. Will be looking at its terminal applications and possibly remote or thinclient apps.

Robby, Joe here and a long time android phone user however a first time tablet user. I recently picked up a Viewsonic g tablet and want to use this as a platform to see just how far you can push the OS and the Device.
My home is in New Mexico (USA) however I am working in South Korea for the next two years or so.
Your tablet should be newer technology than mine. The g tablet is two year old technology (old for computing) but thanks to developers like the ones here, there is little I seem to not do with this tablet.
Good luck and if I can be of help, don't hesitate to PM....
Thanks

Joe
