OK, Im not brilliant but I dont think Im a complete lamer.Anyhow, have placed ECOTOX 1.1.1 on the M001. Please tell me how to install apps, .apks ?thanks to anyone willing to reply!Gizzy Guy from NZ

OK, been playing and understand it more now.However, I cannot figure how to install .apk files that i have downloaded on computer and transferred to SD card.

Just transfer the .apk files to a directory on the sdcard and then on your m001 use the file explorer to select the file.

Yeah, I could do that with 'file browser' in 1.7.4 but cant seem to do the same using 'ES File Explorer' under the ECOTOX 1.1.1 !!??

It installs apps fine. Almost any of the File Managers will kick off the package installer built into Android.

I shall try that linuxlover.I think i might have to start again and re-install ECOTOX 1.1.1 as the slate keeps rebooting itself over and over. DANG as it was going great for 2 days!!

Ha ha, well so I thought! I have tried to re-install ECOTOX 1.1.1 but the slate doesnt seem to recognise the sd card.It boots then loads then reboots then loads then.........Oh brother
