My apad should be on its way by now. There is something I can not find good info about: GPS.At some places there is mention of GPS that only works with special software. Strange. Is there a GPS in the "good" ipad?
Anything with a cellular signal can use triangulation to find its position and, while it may not be as accurate as GPS, you can still pinpoint your location within about 20m.As the aPad has neither a SIM slot or a GPS then it relies on the location of your WiFi signal to determine this. Again, it will be a lot less accurate than GPS or even 3G.
I dont think there are drivers for GPS devices in the firmware.I tryed to conect a bluetooth stick, that was not recognized.(if it would i could have tried to connect to a bluetooth GPS mouse)I dont think there are any USB bluetooth devices, are there if anyone has one, can you try it?
