If they don't understand, get into the chat and do this:"Ni zhen de bu dong ma? Na wo yong pinyin gen ni jiang." You really don't understand? Fine, I'll use Chinese pinyin to tell you."Wo mai de pingban diannao shi huai de." The tablet computer I bought is broken"huan gei wo wo de qian." Give me my money back.If they're being obnoxious then, pm me all the order info and such then I'll chat with them directly in Chinese when I'm free at work later if ya want me to give it a try. The guy is at Huaqiangbei. It's one of the big electronic markets here in Shenzhen.
